Greta is the winning author for the 2024 Arbor Day Creative Writing contest through the Perkins County Conservation District. Congrats Greta! Keep writing!
The Lemmon Class of 2024 is keeping traditions alive by participating in the annual Lemmon Elementary Walk. Each Spring the graduating class gets their caps and gowns on to visit the elementary school to show and tell these students how important school is and how much fun they had while in elementary school.
This year LHS will be graduating 25 seniors during their commencement exercise on Sunday, May 12 at 2:00 pm.

We are hosting a 3 vs. 3 league this summer in Lemmon. New teams drawn every week, lots of towns invited, should be some great competition! You don't have to make every night, you can come one time or all six. FREE!!! Just come and compete with girls from the surrounding area. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the gym this summer!

Design the MASTHEAD for the 24-25 Squeezer section of the Dakota Herald. All masthead graphics must be submitted to Ms. Hickman by May 9. All students are encouraged to submit a design!

The golf meet scheduled for tomorrow in Lemmon will be cancelled. We are looking at a possible make-up date, but it doesn't look great.
The LHS Awards Day will begin at 2:00 today. The public is asked to enter through Door 8 (SW side of Armory). Doors will open at 1:30.
We would like to congratulate all of our students who received an award or scholarship at today's Awards Day Program. Thank you to our local businesses/organizations for supporting our seniors with scholarships. The combined total of local and college scholarships given at today's program totaled over $170,000.
