FFA Ag Olympics were fun for all!

Congratulations to Mr. Retro Benson on qualifying for the State Wrestling Tournament! Retro placed 3rd today at the Region 4B tournament in Hill City. He will join the girls who qualified yesterday as they head to Sioux Falls next week. Kaleb Ellingson also had a strong performance, placing 6th. Great job, Cowboys!

South Dakota has adopted the ACT as the 11th Grade state test. LHS juniors will be taking the ACT on Wednesday, March 11. For user information and practice tests, see the links below:

A highlight for the FFA members during FFA Week is to teach the elementary students about agriculture. Each grade covers a different topic that includes a hands-on project for the students to enjoy.

Wednesday FFA emblem winners! Happy FFA Week!

LHS Close Up will be hosting an Easter Bunny Fundraiser. Before we play Easter Bunny, we are seeking donations of new or gently used plastic Easter Eggs to be used for the fundraiser. More information about the fundraiser will be released next week!

The dress-up winners for Tuesday's FFW week theme "Station by the Flag Day" were Ayla, Will, and Kira.

Thursday, Feb 19 will be Ag Appreciation Night for the Lemmon FFA. There will be a silent auction and bake sale. Farmer's Union Goldsmith Agency will provide FREE popcorn at the games!

Missoula Children's Theatre will hold auditions on Monday, Apr 6 for their performance on Friday/Saturday, Apr 10 & 11. All students in grades K-12 are encouraged to audition!

Our 1st and 8th grade students worked together on an art project last week. Great teamwork!
