The National Honor Society will be holding their annual Painted Daisy Sale on Thursday, April 27 between 3-4 pm. Students will be stopping by local businesses on Main Street to sell flowers. The cost is $2 per stem. All profits and donations will be used to support various local causes.

Congratulations Lemmon FFA on a great State Convention! Alyssa D won the Range Plant ID. Shannon placed 19th. The team of Alyssa, Shannon, Katelyn and Kelly placed 4th. Nursery and Landscape placed 7th, Agronomy placed 8th, Meats placed 13th, Food Science placed 18th and Poultry placed 20th. Gage won a $1000 scholarship for the Washington Leadership Conference. Macy won a secondary FFA scholarship. Dara, Kristopher, Alyssa and Rosie all received their State Degrees, which is the highest degree an FFA member can receive at the state level.
After 4 years of not being on the SDSU campus for State Convention, the FFA members handled themselves like champions. The chaperones heard many compliments on how polite and respectful the students were! Way to Lemmon FFA!

Any 23-24 Junior or Senior interested in taking a dual credit needs to fill out the Dual Credit Survey that Mrs. Heil emailed to you. This survey needs to be complete by April 20, 2023. Please review the survey with your parents so you understand the dual credit qualifications.
