The 6th graders participated in the Perkins County Conservation District Arbor Day Essay Contest. Congratulations to Sutton for placing 3rd and to Haylin for placing 1st. Haylin's Essay has been submitted to the State Contest.

Lemmon FFA Land & Range Team Places 12th at NATIONAL CONVENTION!!!
These students have spent the week learning 130 grasses, legumes, forbs, and trees along with their characteristics. The sites and soil looks very different in Oklahoma compared to western South Dakota. They also had to consider quail habitat and food instead of grouse. Congratulations Alyssa, Katelyn, Shannon, Sam, Blake and their Advisor Renae Gebhart!

The last day of school for Grades K-5 will be Thursday, May 11, 2023. The last day of school for Grades 6-12 will be Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
2023 Senior Spotlight!
SURPLUS SALE: Friday, April 28, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for all items left in the shop area of the old high school. Items will be sold on a first come first serve basis. The cost of all items is a free will donation. The buyer will be responsible to load and haul anything that they purchase at the time of the sale.
The National Honor Society will be holding their annual Painted Daisy Sale on Thursday, April 27 between 3-4 pm. Students will be stopping by local businesses on Main Street to sell flowers. The cost is $2 per stem. All profits and donations will be used to support various local causes.
Lemmon JH tracksters had their first Meet in Timber Lake yesterday. Although the temperatures may have been low, the spirits were high. It was great to see our kids give it their best and cheer each other on! The Varsity/JH Harold Severson Track meet is scheduled for this Saturday- come check it out!
