Mrs. Penfield's third graders learned how to read a recipe, procedures for baking and cooking, and how measure ingredients correctly. Then, they practiced their skills by making Frozen No-bake Pumpkin Pie. Delicious!
Mrs Katus 5th grade class painted globes on pumpkins for their Social Studies class. They had to name the 7 continents, 5 oceans, prime meridian, and the equator. The students had fun while learning.
The 8th grade Study Skills/Life Skills class has been focusing on practical skills needed to be successful in everyday life. The past couple of weeks the students learned how to make a career choice and started thinking about what classes to take during their high school years. This past week they had a more hands on learning experience and learned how to wrap gifts and sew buttons on fabric.
The 7th grade class has been studying the dairy industry, so it was fitting for them to make butter today
Our Seniors were trained in CPR today!

Members of Mr. Heil's 4th Grade class read their Veteran's Day essays at the November School Board Meeting. Their essays were based on interviews they conducted with a Veteran. They did a great job!
Congratulations to Lemmon FFA on a fantastic District LDE competition! The marketing team of Shannon, Kelly & Kate placed 1st. The Ag Communication team of Tevyn, Brooks, Emma O & Emma B placed 1st. The Ag Issue team of Lainee, Quinn & Chel placed 1st. The Conduct of Chapter Meeting team of Allyson, Ayla, Izzie, Kate, Addy, Jordyn, Payton placed 1st. Gage placed 1st in Extemp. Sam D placed 2nd in Creed Speaking. Good luck at State to all these FFA members! Gage was elected the District 8 President and Sam W was elected District Treasurer.

Dave Huber came into the classroom on Tuesday November 9th to talk to students about the military branches and what it is like to be a veteran. He also talked about his tours over seas with the students. Thank you CSM Huber for your service
