Lemmon School District seeks a motivated School Nutrition Director beginning the 2024-2025 school year. This position oversees all aspects of the district’s child nutrition operation for school breakfast, lunch, and other special events. Job functions include ensuring sanitation, food safety, and employee safety; overseeing the operational procedures for planning, preparing, and serving daily meals; ensuring program accountability; kitchen personnel management; providing nutrition education; financial management and record keeping; and providing friendly customer service to students, staff, and families. Applicants must have a high school diploma or higher degree. Additional considerations for the applicant pool will be relevant food service experience and certifications. This is an hourly 10-month position starting August 1 annually with expectations/opportunities to receive paid training before starting and between school years. Position considered full-time with benefits, salary depending on experience. The Lemmon School District will be dismissing school at 1:40 on Thursday, February 29 so staff & students may attend the GBB SoDak 16 tournament in Gettysburg that night at 5:30 MT. There will be NO EST on Thursday, Feb 29 and the afternoon bus routes will run at 1:40.
Dental Bus will be a hygienist only this year. Please contact the Department of Health to schedule a cleaning & fluoride treatment for your child.
