Good luck to the FFA members at the first CDE competition in Newell!
The 7th grade Life Science class concluded their unit on body systems with the dissecting of a bullfrog. The bullfrog has similar body systems as a human and is less expensive to dissect than larger animals. Students researched human body systems and frog systems before the dissection. It was really exciting to hear and see the students find all the organs, use the correct terminology, and identify male and female bullfrogs! It was a great way to end the unit!

Thank you to Mr. Baumeister and his Building Trades classes for repurposing the hallway benches from the old high school to be used in our new building. They look amazing!
The Ag Processing class held a burger challenge! The students had to come up with a surprise recipe to try make the best burger. Big thank you to our guest judges Matt, Lyle and Sheri!

Dental Van will be in Lemmon!
The 8th grade Ag class harvested some of their lettuce. Each group has to plant a different variety of lettuce. The students were surprised at all the different tastes and appearances of the varieties.
The CTE shop students are selling tickets for a chance to win a dog house! The drawing will be held at the Farm and Home Show.
