Lemmon FFA had a great first day yesterday at the State FFA LDE competition! The marketing team, ag issues, ag communication and Chapter of Conduct Meeting all competed! Members also listened to industry speakers, attended a career carnival and networked with other FFA members from across the state. Today is the individual events for our members along with press opportunities before the awards start at noon.

4th graders did a wrap up activity after reading the Circulatory Story by dissecting beef hearts!

The 2nd graders learned all about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They designed and created their own parade floats and held a parade for the elementary students and staff!


What a great way to recycle old machinery parts into an amazing shelf!

Mrs. Penfield's third graders learned how to read a recipe, procedures for baking and cooking, and how measure ingredients correctly. Then, they practiced their skills by making Frozen No-bake Pumpkin Pie. Delicious!









Mrs Katus 5th grade class painted globes on pumpkins for their Social Studies class. They had to name the 7 continents, 5 oceans, prime meridian, and the equator. The students had fun while learning.




The 8th grade Study Skills/Life Skills class has been focusing on practical skills needed to be successful in everyday life. The past couple of weeks the students learned how to make a career choice and started thinking about what classes to take during their high school years. This past week they had a more hands on learning experience and learned how to wrap gifts and sew buttons on fabric.











Our Seniors were trained in CPR today!




All families with students in grades PreK-6 are invited to Family Engagement night for supper & activities on Thursday, Nov 16!

The 7th grade class has been studying the dairy industry, so it was fitting for them to make butter today



Members of Mr. Heil's 4th Grade class read their Veteran's Day essays at the November School Board Meeting. Their essays were based on interviews they conducted with a Veteran. They did a great job!
