name is Steven Bucks, and I’m very excited for the opportunity to serve as the
Principal at Lemmon Elementary School. I grew up in Wisconsin, attended college
in Mankato, Minnesota. My first teaching position was in McKinney, Texas and
then I returned to Minnesota and taught with The Cambridge-Isanti Schools. I
have been an educator for 19 years, and for a majority of those years I was a
classroom teacher and a Title-I teacher.
I was teaching in Minnesota I obtained my Master’s Degree from Saint Mary’s
University of Minnesota in 2007. Recently, I achieved a K-12 Principal
Administration License again from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. I am
beyond excited to start here at Lemmon Elementary School.
wife, four children, and I are ready and excited to call the Community of
Lemmon home. We appreciate the close-knit atmosphere that Lemmon offers. We
have been welcomed kindly everywhere we go, and this affirms that the community
of Lemmon is where our family needs to be. I look forward to meeting the
families of Lemmon Elementary School.

Our Elementary operates on a four-day school week
and includes kindergarten through grade six. School hours are from 8:10
in the morning to 3:45 in the afternoon.
