All juniors and seniors interested in the John Deere Technology program at NDSCS are invited to come to an information night on April 2nd from 6-8 PM at Gooseneck Implement on Highway 12 in Lemmon

The 2019 prom is just around the corner and as always, you can sign up for prom t-shirts in the office.  An order form is in the office on the counter. Please pay when you order. Deadline is March 29

 

A reminder for those attending the Lemmon Prom to be sure to stop at the Flower Box to get measured for your tux and place the flower order.

 

Also available this year are personalized “superhero” emblem t-shirts. Order forms for the superhero shirts are on the dual credit bulletin board. These shirts would be for the gentlemen to wear under their tuxes if they wish, as shown on the paper. Turn in these order forms and payments to the office. Deadline is March 29

  

Attention all students and teachers- Student Council is working with Susan to recycle cans. There are now garbages in the school that are for cans only. The cans will be collected for recycling and the proceeds from recycling them will go to the LIVE Center for the residents to occasionally get treats like pizza or burgers. Thanks in advance!

Attention 6th thru 12th graders:  Get your JH/HS yearbook today. The cost is $40. The deadline is March 21st. The place to bring your payment is the high school office. Don't miss out - this book is going to be a great one!

 

We are excited to announce that we will be having a Trap Shooting Team this spring for grades 7-12.  If you are interested in being on the trap team please, see Mrs. Renae Gebhart this week to sign up.  It will be a lettering sport with practice once a week. 

 

Mrs. Renae Gebhart has t-shirt order forms for anyone wishing to purchase a "believe" t-shirt to support the Weishaar family. 

 

There will be an NHS meeting today at 11:45 in Mrs. Dirk's room.

 

There will be a Parent/Student track meeting at 6:00pm tonight at the Armory Lobby.  Both students and parents MUST attend. The first day of track practice will be tomorrow after school at the Armory

 

There will be a  rep from Western Dakota will be here on Thursday from 11-noon.   If any Juniors or Seniors are interested in talking to them please come to the Dual Credit area when their arrival is announced over the intercom.

 

7th grade will have Prevention Class during 8th hour tomorrow. Any Juniors or Seniors interested in talking to them please come to the Dual Credit area when their arrival is announced over the intercom.

 

Remember that this Friday, March 22 is a school day!

 

FFA will be helping with Meals on Wheels this week. Please let the following students out at 10:50 each day: Today-Cody Thompson; Tomorrow-Cord Beer & Thursday-Tayte Kohn

 

There will be a meeting for all athletes in grades 6-12 who are interested in golf this year on Thursday after school in the high school lunchroom

 

If you are planning on being gone on Friday for youth basketball games, please bring a note to the office so you can get an advance make up slip!

 

All Juniors will take the ACT test on April 2 beginning at 8:20 AM in the DDN room.

 

The rapid increase of e-cigarette use and vaping has suddenly reversed the trend of declining teen tobacco use in South Dakota.  Unfortunately, the

truth is e-cigarettes are a threat to all of us. Lemmon SADD reminds you to KICK BUTTS by learning the facts...and make the choice to say NO to nicotine in ALL forms! 

 

Students in grades 6-12 will receive their report cards on Thursday, March 21st during study hall.  Please take them home to your parents. Parents, remember that you can access your students weekly grades and quarter report cards at any time through DDN Campus Parent Portal.
